For this installment of Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we have Zoe Jay from Elpromotions.

Zoe is a Midlands and London-based model who has been modelling for 11 years after originally being spotted at ‘Clothes Show Live’. 

At the beginning of her career, she was self-admittedly shy but now loves the camera and tells us modelling has increased her confidence and self-esteem.

Zoe has modelled on the catwalk - including London Fashion Week - and has appeared in many commercials. 

She has also been involved in numerous modelling projects.

Here’s her advice for our readers:

What do you think is a classic sense of style for a man? What type of style are you attracted to (i.e how they dress, how they look, etc.)?

Sophisticated and business like.  That’s what attracts me to a man. 

When a man wears a suit, or even just a smart shirt and trousers, to me their looks improve tenfold.  It shows they take pride in their appearance.  Even better still when they are cleanly shaven (no neck hair either boys! – yuk!). 

Although I love a man who looks smart I’d rarely be attracted to a man who wears masses of hair gel and one that looks in the mirror constantly at themselves, thats a big no no.

Hmmm.  I wonder if pomade counts?

For today’s installment of Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we have the “wish she really was the girl next door” girl, Katilin Tierney.

Katilin is a small town girl who moved to the big city for a better opportunity.

Modeling is a new found love for her and she enjoys working with photographers that have tasteful ideas.   She is also currently a full-time office administrator at a medical clinic in Southern California.

Throughout the work week, Katilin finds dealing with various office issues makes her life a little stressful.

According to her, it’s often nice to unwind in front of a camera.  (That’s great news for us.)

Additionally, Katilin enjoys working out, running, hiking and anything outdoors.  She’s notoriously competitive and can often be seen playing sports such as softball, volleyball, and basketball.

Bonus points for all you gearheads out there - Katilin is an avid car girl and owns a… wait for it…. Corvette which she considers her pride and joy.

You’ll often find her working on her car in the garage rather than working on a meal in her kitchen.

And no, we won’t give you her number just because she is your dream girl.  Here’s her advice for our readers.

What are things a man should do when they are on a date?

Take charge! You’re taking her out.

• Ask what kind of food she likes and then make a decision from that. An indecisive man is unattractive.
• Always remember to smile. Women are strange, exotic, intuitive creatures, and we respond well to positive reinforcement. What may be a simple smile to you can melt her heart!
• Ask questions. This seems obvious right? Some men like to talk about themselves, and some men don’t talk very much at all. Women like attention. Ask a question and listen to her answer. It’s that simple!
• Use flattery, appropriately. Don’t call her beautiful, pretty, or gorgeous while she’s taking a bite, drinking from her wine glass, or in the middle of saying a sentence… that can be very awkward… and rude. Always mind your manners.
• Take care of the bill without comment.
• When your date has come to an end, make it a point ask if she enjoyed it. Be a gentleman; walk her to her door, give her a hug and say goodnight.

For this week’s installment of Your Weekly Fix, we have Elpromotions model Chloe Harvey.  Oddly enough, her goals for this year are very similar to ours.

Chloe Harvey is a full-time Model that recently moved back to Manchester after living for the past two years in Beirut, Lebanon where she started her modeling career.

In the past few years as a photo and runway model, she has been featured in Beirut Fashion Week and the L’oreal Hair Show two years in a row.

Chloe is very passionate about fashion and hopes to one day be a Victoria’s Secret Model.

In 2012 her goals are to travel more and to party harder.

What are things a man should never wear?

Jesus sandals with socks are a definite no-no.   Actually, ANY sandals-with-socks look is a definite “no”.

Additionally, pedicures aren’t only for girls.   A guy friend of mine once told me he can tell how clean and well groomed a girl is by the state of her nails.

Guess what gentlemen – girls notice these things too.

Being a guy is no excuse for having poorly groomed feet.  Trim back the nails and freshen up your look if you plan on wearing sandals this summer!

For this installment of Your Weekly Fix, we have Elpromotions model Naomi King who took some time out of her busy modeling schedule to give our readers some style advice.

Despite being a model for Elpromotions, Naomi King is an artist at heart and just recently graduated with a degree in illustration.

She loves to draw and paint, considers herself a bit of a hippy and is at her happiest in the outdoors camping, exploring new places and looking at the stars.

She admits that now her school days are over she’s trying to become a bit more glamorous.

What advice can you give a man when it comes to style?

Always wear something you like and feel good in.

I would say you should go for classic pieces and let your personality subtly shine through without loud accessories. Simplicity is often so flattering.

For me there’s nothing better than a good-quality white t-shirt and blue jeans.

I’ve not yet seen any man who can pull off a low v-neck even if they do have the physique, and very baggy jeans should only be used as overalls, but most of the time if you look clean, fresh and comfortable in your own skin you’ll be fine!

Low v-necks are passe anyway.  It’s high time for the “Doble Vey“.

What advice can you give a man when it comes to style?

The advice I would give to a man when styling is this: Don’t try too hard, it’s not good to have too many things going on at once.

You can’t really go wrong with a classic look, such as smart black or grey tailored trousers with a plain black or white shirt…  Preferably with the sleeves rolled up a little!!

Hmmm… wonder if it is still cool if we roll it up with a pack of cigarettes?

What do you think is a classic sense of style for a man?

A classic sense of style in my opinion is the quality of a man’s clothes.

It is always clear to me when a man has invested in what he is wearing - especially shoes, expensive shoes and coats stand out.

For a man, I think accessories can complete an outfit and give him an edge, a cravat or classic hat looks sexy, particularly on the younger men that have the confidence to pull it off.

If you have the confidence, everything will suit you.

Oh and men should never, ever wear Ugg boots.

Lucky we just recently threw ours away.

We know it’s been a while, but we’re glad our man The Strategist turned things around. 

Introducing Rachel Tan, our next installment for our article series “Your Weekly Fix”.  She’s beautiful, can kick your ass in martial arts and is very, very special.

Rachel is originally from Ontario, Canada (where she was born and raised) and currently resides in sunny Southern California.

If you’ve seen her on the dance floor, she looks like your average girl that has mad rhythm and can dance to any beat.

You would never guess Rachel was actually born deaf.

Although no one has ever determined the cause to her deafness, her disability has never stopped her from always reaching her goals.

Don’t let her innocent face fool you either, because she is strong for her size. She trains in martial arts like kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Rachel Tan always reaches her goals regardless of the challenge.

Rachel’s passions include baking, modeling and acting.  She also loves animals, learning new things and is very down to earth.

What advice can you give a man when it comes to style?

To be honest with you, it is all about who you are and what you feel comfortable wearing.

I wouldn’t want a man to wear a certain brand or something trendy just because his friends do. I like a man who has a classic sense of style.

And please, no skinny jeans. 

Ultimately, a man can have different styles and it should always depend on what the occasion is.

Rachel isn’t the first to advise us about the whole skinny jeans trend.  Lucky we only have one pair.

Face of an angel. Body fit for sin. Leah Polcyn from Common Burn Fitness makes us want to feel the burn.

For this week’s installment of Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we have fitness guru Leah Polcyn.

Raised in the foothills of Northern California, Leah has been obsessed with fitness since early in high school, where she was forced to lift weights to play soccer with the big girls or have her 5’4″ 110lb frame crushed.

From that moment she was hooked with a life of fitness.

Although her body would be so sore she needed to hoist herself into her truck using the “oh shit!” handle, she didn’t mind.  In fact, her love of fitness grew to the point where it made sense for her to become an avid mountain biking enthusiast and to also participate in sprint triathlons.

Whatever your essence is, rock it with total confidence.

It doesn’t matter so much what you wear, but how you wear it.  A woman can pick up on that from miles away, and believe me, there is some kind of pheromone attached.

If you need a little confidence boost, go out and buy a nice pair of Sevens, a simple clean shirt, and a pair of Sperrys.

Then go workout.  Hard.

Take a well-earned shower, get dressed in your fine new outfit (don’t forget to roll the jeans up once) and go grab a beer.  If you don’t feel like a million bucks then I don’t know what will.

For this installment of “Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman”, we have the talented and beautiful Anastazia “Stazz” Dalesandro.

Stazz is a singer/songwriter from San Diego who currently resides in Hollywood.

She writes original songs on guitar, piano, and also creates electronic dance tracks on her lap top.  Currently, she has shows all over California and is working on her new pop rock album.

What are things a man should never wear?

A man should never wear Birkenstocks.

I don’t care what age you are. There are thousands of other fashionable sandals a man can chose from!

Also, men should never wear a cellphone clipped to their belt. Use your pocket!  These two things are major turn offs and deal breakers.

We are so glad we never liked Birkenstocks in the first place.

Drinie Aguilar. Sweet and kick ass at the same time.

For this installment of “Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman” we have model, actress, yoga instructor and martial arts enthusiast Drinie Aguilar.

From acting on prime time soap operas to modeling in commercials (the last of which showcased her martial arts background – she has brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been studying Capoeira for many years) to working as a Sportscaster on ESPN STAR Sports (which broadcasted 3 shows to an Asia-Pacific audience), Drinie has been in the entertainment industry since she was a teenager.

A global citizen having lived in 4 different countries and states, she was born and raised in the metropolitan city of Manila, Philippines.

What type of men’s style are you attracted to (i.e how they dress, how they look, etc.)?

I like a man who can dress sporty but still look put together. Laid back, but still spiffy and clean. I think that it’s really sexy when a man is able to pull off the balance between the two.

Karen Ladouceur - she's a model and a teacher. We'll leave it at that.

For this installment of Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we have model and teacher Karen Ladouceur.

Karen was born and raised in a small town in Michigan.

Although she was a ham in front of the camera since she was young, she wasn’t always a model.   In her early years, she attended cosmetology school at Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Michigan where she got her start working behind the scenes as a hairstylist.

When she did a favor for her co-worker to be a makeup/hair model, Karen quickly realized she enjoyed being in front of the camera much more and decided to pursue modeling.

Aye, captain. Karen Ladouceur can make us walk the plank any time.

She started by modeling and working promotions part-time while in school at the University of Arizona.  After graduating, she became an English teacher.

Currently, she keeps busy doing what she loves most - modeling and teaching in Southern California.

What are things a man should do when they are on a date?

Aside from dressing well, I think the best thing a guy can do on a date is be a gentleman and display good manners.

I always appreciate it when a guy opens doors, pulls out the chair for me, and tells me to put away my purse. If you want to impress me, knowing a little bit about wine or giving me suggestions on what to order will do the trick.

I guess we better start drinking more wine, then.

For this installment of Your Weekly Fix: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we’ve got the gorgeous Arielle Tatiana.

She’s 19 and has recently moved to Los Angeles from Reno, Nevada to pursue a career in modeling, acting and singing.  More importantly for this article series, she loves fashion and helping people look their best.

Her goals at the moment is to be on billboards, magazines and to ultimately have her own shoe brand.

Arielle Tatiana, giving you a reason to not wear sneakers with that suit.

Here’s her advice for our readers:

When you are dressed up in either a nice button-down shirt or suit, DO NOT wear casual/tennis shoes. It doesn’t look right and it looks like you didn’t try.

So if you dress up, make it 100%

I think we all would agree – for Arielle, we have no problem giving it our 100%.
