CLASSIC GARAGE: 1994 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6

For anyone that saw the movie Bad Boys, you know this car.  Built in 1994, the Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 could go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, had a top speed of 174 mph and is extremely rare (there were only 63 built at the time).
Here’s a little excerpt about the Porsche 964 from Wikipedia:
The [...]

CLASSIC GARAGE: Land Rover Defender

I was a little torn as to where I should park the Land Rover Defender – in the Classic Garage or in the Dream Garage.  I opted for the Classic Garage for 2 reasons: 1) They don’t sell them in the United States anymore and 2) the more vintage Defenders are cooler.
The Defender is well [...]

CLASSIC GARAGE: Jaguar XJ 220

The Jaguar XJ 220 was dubbed the fastest production sports car between the years 1992 and 1994.  It had a top speed of 217 mph, was co-designed with Tom Walkinshaw Racing and had a tumultuous upbringing.
Originally designed to compete with the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959, the concept car had a V12 engine, all-wheel [...]

Is there anything cooler than a vintage Porsche speedster?  How about you driving around in one?  If this sounds good to you, check out the Beck 356 Speedster, created by Special Edition, Inc.

CLASSIC GARAGE: Falcon Motorcycles

Now this is a true labor of love – Ian Barry and Amaryllis Knight get original motorcycle frames and parts from original BSA’s, Triumphs and other marques to create modern road vehicles that are as beautiful as they are classic.
I saw an article about this company on Los Angeles magazine, but unfortunately was unable to [...]

CLASSIC GARAGE: Factory 5 Type 65 Coupe

The Factory 5 Type 65 Coupe is a replica of the original cars built by Carroll Shelby between 1964 and 1965 to compete in the GT class.  Factory 5 has done a great job sticking true to the original and I definitely wouldn’t mind having one in my own driveway.
The kit itself isn’t too expensive [...]

CLASSIC GARAGE: CDC ‘67 Flashback

I was reading through a Robb Report in the airport when I first saw this car.  It was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes.  Well, not literally brought tears – just figurative tears.
In any case, it was basically the car that Steve McQueen would have driven in Bullitt if I was the one [...]

CLASSIC GARAGE: Rocky Roads Custom Vintage Broncos

If you’re like me, you dream of getting an old car, sticking it in your garage and spending a lot of time and money restoring it to pristine condition.
If you’re really like me, you know that is a pipe dream and you’re probably better off just buying it from someone that knows what they’re doing.
This [...]
