For today’s installment of YOUR WEEKLY FIX: Style advice from a beautiful woman, we have model, outdoor enthusiast and adrenaline junkie Natalie Paladin.

According to Natalie, she has always been drawn to nature and the outdoors since a very young age.

Growing up with her family, she was often on vacations revolving around camping and ski trips – which ultimately shaped who she became as an adult.

“I’m the type of person who gets lost on purpose because I love exploring and experiencing new places.”

And her love for the outdoors and new experiences has lead her to a new obsession: extreme sports.

She continues, “Along the years I have expanded my extra-curricular activities and I must admit I have become slightly addicted to adrenaline.  Anything I can get my hands on involving any sort of risk I find myself enthusiastically taking part in. Climbing mountains, mountain biking, kite surfing, snowboarding, ice climbing, riding motorcycles, flying planes or jumping out of them are a few of my favorite things.  I guess you could say I have appetite for adventure!”

Before moving to Los Angeles to become a model, Natalie was a snowboard instructor for a few years in a small ski town in Colorado.

When asked about how her life now compares to her time in Colorado, she tells us, “(It) wasn’t quite what I had in mind but I’m enjoying the ride. Everyday is different.  Different client, different location, different person I have to become, but at the end of the day I’m still just Nat – a girl who would rather get filthy dirty riding ATV’s in the mud then go to the spa.

More recently, Natalie is capitalizing on her persona as a tomboy and this year is launching her own online store called “Tomboy Outfitters” where girls with similar interests as her can shop for active wear.

Here’s Natalie’s advice for our readers:

When it comes to men’s style there is nothing sexier than confidence.

I like my men to dress a little more low-key, like the casual-effortless-rocker look. Beanie, leather jacket and a pair of converse. Yum.

When it comes to dressing up, I’m not going to lie – there is something magical about a bow tie (call me crazy, but I think bow ties are hot!).

Personally I’m a fan of the facial hair or just hair in general! Bring on the stubble, mustaches and man buns! I’m all in!

When it comes to casual men's style, Natalie prefers something more low-key. When it comes to something more formal, she's a sucker for bow ties. Photography by Katy Pritchett.
