Even my mouth moves faster than the speed of my words. Film couldn't capture it.
How many time can you say ‘kick ass’, and mean it, literally? Bruce Lee, born Lee Jun Fan, kicked some serious ass, and he did it with style.
His signature “HI-YAAAA” is all you need to hear to know there is going to be some amazing fight sequences. He whupped Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon. He toppled Kareem Abdul Jabbar in Game of Death. He created his own style of martial arts, Jeet Kune Do, known as ‘the way of the intercepting fist.’
With his hands at his side, he could smack you in 5/100ths of a second! He did one handed pushups, on just 2 fingers! Then the stud would turn around and drop a smooth quote like: “Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.”

He was a teacher, an actor, and philosopher. He took his skills to the highest level, and beyond. He broke the rules, and made his own way, original and genuine. And he did it all with humility and class.
THAT, is truly kick ass.
