A good friend of mine put it best: “I like drinking martinis because they are the only drinks you can order extra dirty.”
Amen.
I am actually a little late in the martini game, probably because I never figured out how I liked them. Old schoolers out there like them simply stirred with just a hint of vermouth.
I like them made with Belvedere vodka, shaken until cloudy and has slivers of ice floating on top, extra dirty and with extra olives.
Save the pear, apple, lychee and chocolate ones for the ladies.
Oh and before I forget, you are drinking about 3 shots of vodka or gin in one drink, so be careful drinking them too fast.
To create Essential Style for Men, mix 2 parts petrol, 1 part secret agent, 1 part rock and roll, 1 part hip-hop and a shot of tequila in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
