DREAM GARAGE: The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne
What the world needs is another Bentley. One that is bigger, badder and more technologically advanced than anything that has been released before.
Here’s a little excerpt from a Road & Track article:
The name Mulsanne celebrates the longest straight, corner and a village along the famous Le Mans circuit in France. Bentleys literally owned the place in the early days with no less than five outright victories in this 24-hour classic, 1924 and 1927-1930. A latter-day Bentley took top honors at Le Mans in 2003 as well. The Mulsanne goes on sale in mid-2010. Its Arnage sibling, likewise named for a Le Mans corner, goes away in this same timeframe with a Final Series of 150 examples. However, Bentley makes clear that the Mulsanne is in no manner intended as a replacement for the rather more traditionally styled Arnage. The Azure, a convertible akin to the Arnage, remains in production.
