The Connoisseurs’ Zombie Kill Kit
Survival in style

This week’s edition in preparing for the zombie apocalypse, a survival tool essential: a blunt force tool.

The blunt (Hulk smash!!!) caveman tool is another all-rounder one should always have in a survival kit - and it doesn’t even need to be acquired for a zombie survival scenario.

If you live in an earthquake prone area, like California, a hammer should definitely make it into your emergency pack should you need to break your way in or out of some rubble.

Unfortunately, a traditional hammer is so…. carpenter.

ESM recommends the ultimate in badass hammer combo, the “Annihilator” by Dead On Tools (http://www.deadonstore.com/tools.htm).

Forged out of a single piece of steel and wrapped in rubber, the Annihilator is effortlessly well balanced, and just looks serious.

It features the standard claw end and impact points, as well as a demolition axe and board straightener on the business end, with a strip conduit notch and a bottle opener.

Just in case you find a beer during the next apocalypse.

At the other end, a spiked tip which they call, the “scoring point” (use your creativity to decide what counts as a point). This part of the hammer is also called “the other business end”.

Last but not least, a hex wrench that will fit most standard gas valves.

All this hand held thunder doesn’t have to drain your wallet either. It’s about $30 online through Amazon, or you can just drop by the Home Depot.

It’ll be the perfect “tool” to wield, Kukri in one hand, annihilator in the other.  Redefining the term “slice and dice” during your fight for survival.
