For something that looks good and saves your socks from getting all wet, we recommend getting yourself a pair of slip-on boots for the season. Something with a sleek silhouette, light and hopefully has a solid sole with a rubber bottom (for slippage).
They’ll run you anywhere from $125-$500 (if you want to spend $500, but you shouldn’t) but should last you about 2 years even with high usage.
