FASHION ESSENTIALS: The Classic Chronograph with Automatic Movement

If I were to list out all my favorite watches and put them side by side, there would probably be one defining characteristic: they would almost all be really expensive automatic chronographs.  “Really expensive” meaning $2,500 to $20,000 and “automatic” meaning you don’t throw a battery in the sucker.

I truly believe that if there is one investment every man should make it should be in his timepiece.  Just one.  You don’t need a whole collection (unless you can afford it), but one that will last you a lifetime.

If you are going to spend that kind of money, please make sure you get one that is high quality and one that will last.  Don’t spend on something that is the latest fad either (although sometimes the latest fad is badass).  For some good deals, you can check out Prestige Time (the only downside is that you may not get all the paperwork and the warranty is with them.  Upside: save up to 40%).

And the funniest part about these chronographs?  You’ll never use the chronograph.  Guarantee it.

Here are a few of my favorites:
