FASHION: The Double Breasted Suit

I knew it would come back.  I have been patiently waiting and waiting for the men’s double breasted suit to show its face to the public again.  Ever since I saw Rusty Ryan wear an exceptional black double breasted suit in Ocean’s 11, I have been waiting.  True, it’s never really been gone, but at the same time it has never been back in full force.

Even GQ is tilting their hat to the style, by doing an entire spread with Jonathan Cho wearing all double breasted suits.  It bugs me that it has taken so long, and I’m sure I haven’t been the only one waiting.

So thank you, Mr. Tom Ford and every other men’s designer for resurrecting it from the ashes and bringing it back to its full glory – as it should be.

Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
