Military inspired fashion?  Really?

Yeah dude, half the stuff you are probably wearing is military inspired.  Cargo shorts? Military.  Aviator sunglasses?  Military.  Dog tags?  C’mon.

And why do men like military inspired fashion?  It’s simple – the look makes us look meaner and badder.  On top of that, a lot of military clothing is meant to be functional too.  You gotta love those extra pockets to carry your extra stuff.

But please, don’t go overboard with the military look.  Try to keep it to a few pieces and mix it up with some other basic items like jeans.  You don’t want to look like you are about to go into battle when you are just going to a bar with your friends.

To create Essential Style for Men, mix 2 parts petrol, 1 part secret agent, 1 part rock and roll, 1 part hip-hop and a shot of tequila in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
