ICON: Giorgio Armani

"Hmmm... how else can I be more awesome? Is it even possible?"

Born in Piacenza, Italy on July 11, 1934, Giorgio Armani has been noted to be one of the most successful designers ever, having a net worth of of about $5 billion.

His clean and classic designs have been favorites the world over from the ultra rich to the ultra famous.  I don’t think anyone has ever lived their life without hearing someone say, “Armani?”

His fashion design lines range from the high end Giorgio Armani, to the middle of the line Emporio Armani, to the entry level Armani Exchange.  He also dabbles in other industries such as home furnishings with Armani Casa and has recently opened his first restaurant Armani/Ristorante.

Beyond that, Armani’s designs for men’s fashio are always on point.  Well, at least for the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani stuff; we won’t count Armani Exchange.
