So a few weeks ago, we proclaimed White Collar (a new TV show from USA Networks) to be a classic.  A good storyline, great characters and some pretty good acting helped make this show what it is.

Today, we’re claiming Neal Caffrey (the main character of the show) to be an ESM Icon.

I guess the second best thing to being a super spy is being a super smooth con artist (just ask Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan from the Ocean’s Eleven movies).  And no, I’m not talking about the creepy con artists in real life.

Here’s a little excerpt from his character bio on

After escaping from prison – and getting caught by the man who put him there in the first place, Agent Peter Burke – Neal strikes a bargain: In exchange for his freedom, Neal will help the FBI catch the most elusive criminals in the country.

If you haven’t seen the show yet, check it out.  I think you’ll add it to the shows you record on a regular basis.  Check out the interview below with the shows creator, Jeff Eastin:

To create Essential Style for Men, mix 2 parts petrol, 1 part secret agent, 1 part rock and roll, 1 part hip-hop and a shot of tequila in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
