THE DIME PIECE: Lindsey Vonn

So I am sitting here watching the women’s super-g for the 2010 Winter Olympics and I get a source of inspiration for our next Dime Piece article - Lindsey Vonn.
If you think we’re simply jumping on the Lindsey Vonn bandwagon or we’re taking advantage of all the Olympic hype, you’re right. But that doesn’t negate the fact that Linsdey Vonn is a great candidate.
Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Lindsay Vonn has been skiing since the age of 2 and is also the first American woman to win back-to-back World Cup Championships in 2008 and 2009. As of this evening, she has won the gold in ladies’ downhill and a bronze in ladies’ super-g.
All-in-all she’s a great reason to watch the Winter Olympics. Who cares about curling when you’ve got someone this hot going really fast in spandex?
