Do you remember when the G-Shock series of watches from Casio first came out? They had commercials where the watch was strapped onto a hockey puck and used by a hockey player on the ice.
Since then, the G-Shock series of watches has developed into many different styles and designs. I’ve loved the brand since I’ve discovered it and I especially like one of these latest watches: the GW2500BD-1A (you’d think they would come up with a better name).
It’s designed for the aviation enthusiast/professional, where the feel of the watch is similar to standard flight instrument layouts. I think it looks great and is very similar to one of my other favorite watches: the Breitling Professional Series. Fortunately for us, at $350 the Casio version is about 90% cheaper than the Breitling one.
