FOOD & DINING: SOHO House
Imagine a place where talking on the cell phone is not allowed and where taking pictures is forbidden.
This place is like a Buddhist retreat, but not. It’s actually SOHO House in West Hollywood.
If you are not the governor of California and you seek the utmost discretion for your liaison and wouldn’t mind a great view of Los Angeles and fine dining to accompany it, then get out your checkbook.
SOHO House is a club for private members in the “film, media, and creative industries,” as they put it.
It will cost you a pretty penny, but exclusivity generally does. There is a screening room that you can rent, or just go see one of the many movies that they show throughout the week.
There are plenty of pretty things to see while you’re there, both famous and infamous. The bar area has a tapas style menu and on the opposite side of this rooftop establishment is a romantic open air restaurant.
And if your travels should take you to London, Berlin, New York, or Miami? Have no fear, SOHO house has locations in all of those destinations.
Take a look, or get one of your friends that works for CAA to take you there and pick up the tab.
