FOOD & DINING: The Colony by SBE

The thing that differentiates The Colony from other clubs in Los Angeles? The venue. Image from http://www.sbe.com/thecolony.

Sometimes the best nights are those that aren’t planned.

Last Friday a small ESM contingent decided to check out The Colony by SBE in Hollywood to go blow off some steam and celebrate a special occassion.

To make sure we got in no problem and have a great time, we decided to get ourselves bottle service (I mean, why not right?).

Since this was the first time there for a few of us, the first thing that we noticed was the attention to detail with the architecture and interior design.  The features and decor made you feel like you were at the Hamptons with a lot of Hollywood party people.

According to the official website for The Colony by SBE:

Representing the evolution of the definitive sbe Nightlife experience, The Colony captures the exclusive and celebrated Hamptons lifestyle—right in the heart of Hollywood. Entering The Colony, guests are ushered into a world of East Coast-inspired luxury, evoking the energy of a destination that has been home to an elite group of pleasure seekers and power brokers.

So I’m sure you’re asking: did we have fun?

Think about it – bottle service with a bunch of friends at one of Hollywood’s hottest clubs.  Come on dude, we had a blast (from what everyone can remember).

Although we didn’t take our own photos, we did take a video in the middle of the evening with our phone (excuse the jarring movement from the mad bass):

Interested in checking The Colony by SBE out?  Maybe do some bottle service to kick it up a bit?  Want to see more photos of the venue?  Check their official site out at http://www.sbe.com/thecolony.

Maybe we’ll run into each other the next time we’re there.

To create Essential Style for Men, mix 2 parts petrol, 1 part secret agent, 1 part rock and roll, 1 part hip-hop and a shot of tequila in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
