BMW Films, The Hire
The Hire was a BMW series of eight short films produced in 2001 and 2002 starring Clive Owen as a driver for different people in each film. Each episode was directed by well-known directors such as Ang Lee and Guy Ritchie.
Quintessential dude movies, this form of branded content helped increase BMW sales 21% in 2001.
I personally love these movies and can watch them all day – not at work of course (don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone).
