For this Father’s Day, you should get your dad an M16.
No not that M16 – we’re talking about getting him one of the most exclusive production bikes on the planet, the NCR Millona 16.
The NCR M16 starts as a Ducati DD16RR (which is no slouch to begin with) and the folks at NCR use the latest carbon fiber and titanium to create a bike with an unparalleled power-to-weight ratio.
According to the official NCR website:
It was conceived from the start to be the most exclusive motorcycle in the world by using the strongest and lightest material in the world. By carefully developing every single component to be as light and strong as possible while achieving the very best performance. Without gas, the NCR M16 achieves an incredible weight of 145 kg (319 lbs). Since there are no rules to follow, the weight is actually lighter than the imposed minimum weight of a MotoGP motorcycle!
To achieve such weight, the bike frame, swingarm, wheels, fuel tank and farings are all made from the latest carbon fiber. For the mechanical parts, they use “either titanium or avionic grade aluminum with material grades derived from Formula 1.”
So what can make it more insane? They put an estimated 200 horsepower to the rear wheels.

But I am sure a lot of you are asking (as I did): “Who the hell is NCR and where did they come from?”
According to their website, NCR was started in 1967 by Rino Caracchi, Giorgio Nepoti and Rizzi who customized stock Ducati production bikes into state-of-the art racing machines.
During the 1970′s, NCR became the first official racing team for Ducati and is best known for the NCR/Ducati conversion (the Ducati 900NCR) Mike Hailwood used to win the 1978 Formula 1 World Championship at the Isle of Man.
Today, NCR is now partnered with the Poggipolini Group who helps NCR use the latest materials to create their incredible motorcycles.
