You know what we do when we want to drool over some of the dopest Ducati motorcycle builds on the planet?

We go to il-ducatista.com.

Because having a stock Duc, is just.. boring.

You thinking the same thing we are? Does it involve jealousy and wishing the bike was yours? Image from http://il-ducatista.com/ducati-monster-s4rs-by-nelson-goncalvez/.

One of the best builds on the site we’ve seen is this Ducati Monster S4Rs by Calgary native, Nelson Goncalvez.

According to the full article on il-ducatista.com:

This Ducati Monster S4RS Special was built by Nelson Goncalvez from Calgary, Canada, over 4 months of week nights and weekends, roughly about 100 hours of sweat, blood and tears. Nelson has been into everything motorsports for the past 30 years and his first love has always been motorbikes. He spent the last 25 years racing various sport bikes and for as long as he can remember he always had a street bike or two laying around; it does help a lot when you have a very supportive wife and two “gear heads” teenage boys. All the bikes he ever owned were modified in some way, influenced by Durbahns‘ garage/projects.

The build was loosely based off of another very similar build by Paolo Tesio from Turin, Italy (also a sick bike) and Nelson convinced Paolo to sell him a kit for the project.

Long story short, he got the kit and convinced his wife to go on a road trip to the U.S. to find a donor S4RS.

As you can tell, the final product is a beautiful piece of art and one we here at ESM would be proud to have in our Dream Garage.
