Much like 85% of the world, we here at ESM are big fans of cooking shows.
And for those of you who are familiar with cooking shows (more specifically cooking competitions), you know some of the best chefs like to prepare the same main ingredient in different ways to show their culinary prowess.
Today, we’re parlaying the same concept for cars in our latest installment of RUN DPE – where we present you with two different preparations for the same car: the Nissan R35 GT-R.
The Art Car
Our first preparation is a very uniquely wrapped GT-R with DPE’s Signature Series S20 Step Lip.
Although the car doesn’t look like it has a ton of modifications, our friend Jojo from DPE Wheels set us straight with the following list of mods performed on the car:
- ID 1000 injectors
- Boost logic double fuel pumps
- HKS cold spark plugs
- Boost Logic inlets
- Boost Logic Intakes
- Boost Logic factory turbo upgrade
- Polished manifold
- AMS down pipe
- AMS mid pipe
- HKS exhaust
- Ivey Tune
- H&R springs
- Bilstein shocks (upgraded)
- 3m matte finish vinyl wrap
- Custom Graffiti by Victor Fung
- DPE Signature Series S20 Step Lip 21×10.5/ 21×12.5
- Pirelli tires (275/30/21 and 355/25/21)
The Liberty Walk Blue Monster
For our second preparation, we have a beautiful blue Liberty Walk R35 GT-R with outrageous looks (but very tastefully done) by our friends over at Car Porn Racing.
Here’s a complete list of mods for this particular vehicle:
- Liberty Walk GTR
- DPE CS Series CS20 (Gloss Black 20×11 and 20×12)
- Toyo Proxes R888 (285/35/20 and 315/30/20)
- AirRex air suspension
So which preparation did you like better?
