FASHION ESSENTIALS: A Classic Tux

With all of the awards shows rolling through, I figured this would be a good time to present the classic tux as a fashion essential.
I know we mentioned you could use your basic black suit as a substitute, but c’mon – this is “Essential Style for Men”, not “how you can be cheap and get away with it”.
Although the tux above from Brioni will cost more than your salary for 3 months, there are a few more cost-effective solutions such as Hugo Boss (about $800) and Calvin Klien (about the same).
Since you will be keeping this suit in your closet for a while, please make sure you go with a classic design.
Also, please don’t wear a belt with the tux. Just get it tailored so it fits perfectly.
