FASHION ESSENTIALS: The Cashmere Sweater

So remember that Seinfeld episode where everyone was going ape shit over the cashmere sweater?  There’s a reason – cashmere is softer than a baby’s butt.

I know I try to keep the fashion essentials to something that is reasonable in terms of price, but please believe that these sweaters are worth every penny.  If you take care of them, they are things you can keep for most of your natural life.

They don’t get too hot, they aren’t too itchy and as I mentioned before, they are ultra plush.  I usually take mine whenever I go on a flight somewhere, because it is perfect to wear while you are on the plane.

As for colors – I would recommend going with something neutral (my personal preference would be black or gray if you are only going to buy one).  I would probably also go with a v-neck over a crew neck, but that is completely up to you.

These bad boys can go with both semi-formal and casual occassions.  I wouldn’t call it a “fashion essential” if I didn’t mean it, right?

Oh and one little quick tip – if you want to save some money, wait until the end of the season to buy one.
