Holiday shopping sucks.
Not because of the volume of people shopping, not because of the stress derived from trying to get gifts for everyone on your list, and definitely not because of the weather.
Holiday shopping sucks because retailers such as Zara release pieces that are awesome and you are torn between shopping for yourself or shopping for other people.
Take this “Casual Blazer with Piping” from Zara, for example:

I know a jacket is a sure-fire winner from the moment I put it on, because I feel like a million bucks.
This jacket, ladies and gentlemen, made me feel like a billionaire.
Sold.
What characteristics of this jacket made it feel like such a high dollar amount? Aside from the fit and finish, the color is a charcoal gray with gray piping.
You can wear this bad boy with jeans (as shown in the picture) or you can dress it up with tux pants and a bowtie (as will be shown at my next outing).
This jacket is so good, I might have to kick the $70 H&M velvet jacket to the bench squad for New Year’s.
