We love this time of year.
For most everyone else in the United States, it’s because November and December is a time to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year while spending time with family.
For us, the reason is waaay more superficial – this is the time we can wear velvet dinner jackets without people looking at us weird.
Unless, of course, you are wearing your velvet dinner jacket shopping in Wal-Mart on Black Friday.
That would be totally weird.
But for those of you who love dinner jackets as much as we do, the folks from Suitsupply have released a few jackets we are in love with.
Check out our selections below:
If it were between a black velvet jacket and a navy blue one, we would rock the navy blue any day of the week.
Most people will think it’s black until the light hits it in the right way and… bam!
White dinner jackets are the pimpest of all pimpest colors in the dinner jacket color spectrum.
Unfortunately, not everyone can pull it off.
Here are our requirements:
- People working at the event you will attend are not wearing white jackets
- You have Matrix-like speed to avoid red wine and food stains
- You’ve got the balls to pull it off
If you’re a style guy, we are almost 100% positive you’ve seen the Tom Brady photo where he is in a blue Tom Ford dinner jacket next to his wife Gisele Bundchen.
We are also 100% positive the following thought creeped in your mind: “I wish I was that dude. In that jacket. With a wife as hot as that.”
Fear not dear style aficionados, we can answer at least item #2 on that wish list, with this dinner jacket from Suitsupply.
All you need now is to become a highly successful quarterback in the NFL with a Victoria’s Secret model for a wife.
No problem! You’re like 33.33% there.
