As some of you may already know, one of my favorite things to do when I travel is pick up a lot of magazines when I travel.  Some are for fun, but most are for research and inspiration in respect to ESM.

Every once in a while, I’ll pick up a publication that will really catch my eye and will really hold my attention with all of the luxury items or designs within its pages.

My most recent find is Luxe Magazine.

According to the official Luxe Magazine website, Luxe Magazine is “a quarterly journal that showcases luxury residential architecture, design, interiors and products, with regional editions in Chicago, Colorado, Texas, Southern California and Seattle. The eye-catching coffee-table magazine serves as an idea book and resource of fine architectural design, interiors and trends. LUXE connects with affluent consumers who are seeking notable quality home design. The magazine presents readers with a variety of upper end residences, from distinguished estates and sprawling ranches to city townhouses and art-filled lofts.”

The products and homes they feature in their magazine are beautiful and well photographed.  There are a lot of ideas throughout the pages that can help inspire even the most discriminating of interior designers.

GQ.com (UK). GQ's brother with bad teeth and an English accent.

I admit it - I kind of like the UK version of GQ better than the U.S. version.

Maybe it’s because I’m a big fan of James Bond.  Maybe it’s because I am a big fan of British designers.  Maybe it’s because I really, really like Bentleys and Aston Martins.

Maybe it’s because the UK version of GQ is “so European” (and not in the techno, white pants and white sunglasses kind of way).

Actually, I really think it’s because I like the fashion, articles and uniqueness of the UK edition of GQ.  But you know what they say, the grass is always greener (when it’s someone else’s grass).

Jameslist.com. Where you can find everything you ever wanted but could never afford.

Looking to sell your $4 million yacht?  Are you looking for that hard-to-find collectible Audemars Piguet that you are dying to have?  What about that 10-of-a-kind Lamborghini Reventon’s you missed your chance on the first time around?

Introducing Jameslist.com, the men’s luxury item website that kicks Craig and his list to the curb for being so pedestrian.  Within the site are pages and pages of unique and exclusive products for sale you would never find at your local thrift shop.

Our only regret when we saw this site was that we didn’t think of it first.

Do you love gear?  No really, do you love gear?  If you love seeing new gadgets, products and dude stuff in general, then uncrate.com is the website for you.

They have a great team of writers and researchers that find the coolest stuff all over the world.  From camcorders to DVDs to killer bicycles, it would behoove you to keep tabs on the things they find and feature.

Just try to not get overwhelmed with all the things you see.  You can’t afford them all.

I admit it, I’m a pretty big fan of the website urbandaddy.com.  They’re a website dedicated to informing people of the latest in men’s fashion, trends, eateries and hot places to go.

They’ve got fantastic writing, constantly update their content, have great images and possess a pretty good business model.

If you’re the type of person that enjoys being in the know with the latest and greatest in your area, I would highly recommend signing up for their service.  You’ll be pleasantly surprised about some of the things you find out.

I wouldn’t recommend what I did, however - signing up for Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Jetset.  I am getting totally bombarded with emails of super cool things I know I don’t have any time to do.

Also, don’t feel too pressured that you’re falling behind if you don’t go to all these hip stores, restaurants or clubs.  You’re still cool.
