Detailed and ready for the big show

Detailed and ready for the big show

When was the last time you got your car detailed?  You know, when you take you car in before a big car show or event and have everything done to it – wash, shampoo, vacuum.  Some people even go through the entire car with a cotton swab and a tiny brush to make sure that every little detail has been taken care of.

"What? I can't hear you with all that nose hair."

"What? I can't hear you with all that nose hair."

Now ask yourself this: when was the last time you took that much time taking care of yourself?  Seriously, when was the last time you took a look at yourself and got ready for the big auto show called “life”?  My guess is, you probably haven’t done so in a long, long time.

Want to know why women find gay men so attractive?  One of the main reasons is because they take care of themselves.  Most dudes barely even shave.  So how can you expect the ladies to take you as a serious contender if they won’t even let you through the “auto show called life” door?

What about professionally?  How serious do you think the job interviewer is going to take you when you have nose hairs moving around in the wind every time you talk?  It’s like that commercial where the shirt stain was louder than the dude doing the interview.

Now I’m not saying that you should go get yourself a manicure and waxed every weekend.  Screw that – just give yourself a checkup every once in a while and see what needs a little maintenance.  Got some hair growing out of control?  Buy yourself a $20 set of clippers from the drug store and take care of business.

And the best part about detailing yourself?  The ladies will dig it.
