Yes, yes it is THE Fastlane – the show directed by McG and starring Bill Bellamy, Peter Facinelli and Tiffany Theisen.  Perhaps you as the reader may think that the show was cheesy, but let me try to change your mind with the following reasons:

Their headquarters was called “The Candy Shop”.

They had the coolest headquarters that housed everything they confiscated during drug busts – motorcycles, vintage cars, sports cars, gear, surfboards and jewelry.  On one episode, they even had the car that was in Bullitt.  Their motto was “Everything we seize, we keep. Everything we keep, we use.”

They had some badass rides.

It didn’t matter what episode it was, they always had some really great cars involved.  Whether it was vintage or a supercar, whoever was making the car choices gets a thumbs up from me.

Kelly Kapowski was an ex-heroin addict and she had a lesbian scene in the show.

Seriously, how can that be any less cooler? You can check out more about the girl-girl action here.

Peter Facinelli and Bill Bellamy had steady jobs.

When was the last time you saw either of these guys on a regular TV show?

Mischa Barton played a role on the show as an underage hottie.
This was about the time she was still in the O.C.  Why does this make it so wrong and yet so right?
