Welcome to Part 2 of the ESM Dream Tour!

Bonjour, mon ami. Welcome to France.

A few nights ago, some ESM staffers came up with a game on how to come up with the best vacation itinerary if we were to win the lottery.  For more information on the rules and what we’ve planned so far, please check out Part 1.

Right now, we’ve each purchased our supercars (a 2011 Bentley Mulsanne, a 2010 Porsche GT3 and a 2000 Ferarri 550 Maranello) and we are on our way to our next stop: Paris, France.

Lucky for us, we don’t have to spend so much on first class airfare for this leg of the trip.  That and we still have $1.27 million to blow.

Stop 3: France, Grand Total: $542,492.36

Viva le France!

We are now each speeding through our respective highways heading towards our first destination in France – the city of lights.  We’ve got some money to spend and we’re ready to party.  But first, we’ve got to get there and check into our hotel.

  • Gas money for London to Paris: $134.40 (288 miles @ 12 miles per gallon @ $5.60/gallon)
  • Gas money for Stuttgart to Paris: $184.80 (396 miles @ 12 miles per gallon @ $5.60/gallon)
  • Gas money for Zurich to Paris: $191.80 (411 miles @ 12 miles per gallon @ $5.60/gallon)
  • And no snack money.  Each staffer should have some money from their $5k left for the drive over.

Given the scope of what we are about to do, we stop and think to ourselves: what would an ESM man do in Paris?
