These days it’s rare to find modern day icons because there are so few people whose style is so consistent and timeless it makes us stand up and take notice.

Maxwell is one of those exceptions.

This style would look good 30 years ago or 30 years from now.

We’ve already given him props for his first album and considered it a classic.  Now it’s time to give him props for his style, particularly in his latest album where he dons well-fitting suits and classic fashion.

The untied bowtie. Always ready to party.

More importantly, his style doesn’t overshadow his talent in the music industry.  Since he hit the scene in the late 90’s, he has been nominated for an incredible 10 Grammys.  Oh and did I mention the ladies dig his music?

And to think, a lot of people thought he wouldn’t do well when he cut his hair.

For more videos on Maxwell, check out his official youtube channel here.  I would recommend checking out his “Bad Habits” video to get a glimpse of his style and a super smoking hot lady friend.

You can also read up more about his biography on his Wikipedia entry.

To create Essential Style for Men, mix 2 parts petrol, 1 part secret agent, 1 part rock and roll, 1 part hip-hop and a shot of tequila in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with explosives and have a supermodel serve for all your friends to enjoy.
