It looks old, but it is brand-spanking-new. The Radimoir Composite Marina Miltare 8 Giorni.

Yes, I am a huge Panerai fan and yes, I will probably love anything that comes out of Panerai even if it is a piece of rock with a sun dial and a leather strap attached to it.

I do, however, feel that this particular Panerai is one of those timepieces worth a look regardless if you are a Paneristi, watch lover or general acquirer of men’s luxury items.

We first introduced the timepiece in our Baselworld article as one of the entries for Panerai into this years SIHH convention and although the timepiece looks a little bit old and beat up, its got the latest in Panerai technology underneath its Panerai composite skin.

From the latest in material (an electrochemical process of ceramization of the aluminum), to the in house 191-component, 21-jewel movement (P.2002/7 Calibre), to a limited run of 1,000 pieces, this latest Panerai will make your collection one piece more exclusive than your neighbors.

Even if your neighbor is Jay-Z.

For more information about the Panerai Radiomir Composite Marina Militare 8 Giorni (couldn’t they have come up with a shorter name?  Oh yeah, the PAM00339), you can visit the official Panerai website.

The Panerai seal of approval.
