You’re about to go out with that knockout girl you met in the produce section at the grocery store.  You want to be styley, but nothing over the top.  It’s not quite cold enough for the 3/4 length cashmere coat, nor is it warm enough for just a long sleeve shirt.  Let’s pair those jeans and half zip sweater with a bit of flavor in the form of a scarf.  Then when she feels a chill you can offer your scarf, and tie her up with it later on!

Right now everyone is in the scarf game for men.  It’s sensible and a good accessory for dudes.  Let’s not go crazy.  I would say that most of us should shy away from the overexposed (and overpriced) Burberry version and go the Club Monaco or French Connection route.

This is also a chance to kind of stretch your legs and get a little nutty.  Do a color that wouldn’t make sense as a shirt like a bold blue, or gregarious green (sounds good, what exactly does it mean?).

Hehehe... I mean, this is a scarf.

Get a pattern that is a little kooky.  It’s a scarf.  Figure out how to wear it for you.  The spring weight can just hang around your neck, while the thicker wool blend can go around and even be loosely tied.  Try a couple of different things and find what suits you.  PS- are you just going to leave that poor girl all tied up in your scarf?
