For those of us that like to pretend that we are special ops agents just using our sales jobs as cover, our clothes have to be fashionable and ready for action. Back in the day when everyone made cargo pants, and everyone wore cargo pants, I was vehemently opposed to them. That was, until I was in a boutique in Hong Kong and saw the styley, black camo “Battle Pant” by G Star. Even the name was right. G Star takes military fashion to the edge, but never goes over. They looked like they were ready for anything, from storming a drug dealers hideout to walking the dogs through the park.

If you love denim, you have got to go to one of their locations and check out all the different cuts and washes. I like the boot cut raw denim look of the “Radar Low Loose” jeans.

For the last 6 years, they have teamed with Marc Newson (designer extraordinaire) to come up with some edgier pieces. Next time you head to the copy machine, know you’ll be ready to dodge enemy fire, or at least Ted from Accounting in style.
