We love the work the folks over at Calibre11.com are doing.
They always keep us up to date with the latest news and information from one of our favorite watch manufacturers, TAG Heuer.
More specifically, they’ve posted some news on of our preferred models in the TAG Heuer range, the classic Monaco.
According to one of their recent posts, the Heuer Monaco Caliber 11 will be getting some new editions for 2017 – the Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 Men’s Club Japan Edition, the Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 France Edition and the Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 Gulf Edition.
Since we’ve always loved anything Gulf, we had to write about the Gulf Edition for today’s feature.
More from Caliber11.com on this special piece:
This is the fourth Gulf-branded Monaco that has been produced over the last 12 years, and the first new Gulf Monaco since 2009. This is the first Heuer-branded Gulf LE, the first to use the Calibre 11 movement and the first to feature a blue dial.
And here’s how much the Gulf Monaco costs and where to get it:
The 2017 Gulf Monaco was launched in September, and for the first two weeks was only available via the TAG Heuer USA online store, before going on sale across the US from 15 September with a price of US$5,900.
The good news for those of us not in the US is that the Gulf Monaco will go on sale globally from March 2018.
Much like the guys at Calibre11.com, we’re big fans of the unique strap which features blue leather on the front with orange stitching and an orange inner color.
But we’re even bigger fans of the fact owning one of these bad boys makes you feel like a modern day Steve McQueen.
